I've been reading a lot of alarming stories for users of MYOB software affected by the Mamut acquisition. It seems that they are sunsetting the product very soon and trying to move users to their other products. Does this have any effect on MYOB customers in the US? Is there any impending end of life for us?

"The Mamut acquisition in the UK has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on US users of MYOB products. To give you some brief history, MYOB's management team bought MYOB US's operations in 2005 http://www.myob-us.com/company/ and then in 2008 purchased MYOB's US development organization http://www.myob-us.com/news/more/24/. The result of those moves is that Acclivity (the resultant business) in the US is a completely independent, autonomous company that makes and markets and sells it's own products in the US and Canada. We even make the Mac product for the rest of globe.
We assure you, we love what we do and have no intention of doing anything but continuing to make great software for small business owners!"
