FirstEdge for Mac 1 (OS 10.5.8) -- I've started a new year and previous expenses purge from the Transaction Journal but they will not purge from the Accounts List. If I try again by selecting "Purge Journal Entries," they still don't purge. Income and Cost of Sales DO purge from the Accounts List. Anyone know a solution to the problem?
Go to Find Transactions and search for future dated transaction for those expense accounts by using a date range for the future, such as 12/31/9999. The total amounts in the Accounts List reflect everything that was posted to that account, regardless of the dates.
