Hello, I copied my data file to an external drive and gave it to my assitant to do some lengthy data entry, I have done this before. When she is done I copy the file back to my laptop and go right on with things. For some reason now I can open the file from the firewire drive but when I copy it back to my laptop I get a program termination 1206 and an error 3000 in DMUseFIle (5030:7043:407).

There was also a lock file on the firewire drive I have never before seen.

ANY HELP would be very much appreciated

We are having the same EXACT problem and are getting the same EXACT message.

Any solution to this? I have emptied the trash and there are NO other files besides this one in the folder. The file is on a compact flash and that is the only file I have.
