You debit owner's draw and credit purchases ( or Cost of Good Sold) if you use the account for the cost basis of items withdraw for personal uses. This will help you te get an accurate picture of how the business is doing, without the entry, cost is overstated by the amount of your personal uses.

Use the adjust inventory screen.
