Since upgrading to Leopard In AE Network edition, when I try to send an email to two or more recipients (they are listed with commas between them in the card for the client) only the first one works. The second and others have a > symbol inserted after the address and thus Apple Mail sees them as invalid addresses.

Did you have this problem before you upgraded to Leopard? Were you on AccountEdge Network Edition before you upgraded to Leopard? What version of AccountEdge Network Edition are you currently using?

I have been on Network Edition for many years (my oldest data file is from 1995!) and did not have this problem before.

I am on 13.0.4d the most recent version I am allowed to have as I don't need the Payroll tables and thus don't have a service agreement. I don't know if the newer versions fix this problem.

I might add I have had other problems as well, including a strange one where the Connection files if used, create a situation where when you quit the program you are not prompted to backup (it is set to do this in the preferences.) When opening the file from the Company File Browser it always prompts for a backup.

I am having the same problem on my mac. Email address #2 is blank even though I have 2 email addresses in their card separated by a comma.

Should we be separating the emails differently in the card?

I have tried all different ways to separate the names and nothing works. It used to work fine. The comma is the correct way.

For me email address #2 isn't blank it's formatted with a > at the end and thus doesn't work.

MYOB101 are you still around?

Please help!

I wish there was some way to have application problems like this addressed, I have another email related problem that is even worse that I'll mention here and also start another thread.

There has not been an update to this app for a LONG time and I refuse to pay for support for something that is not supported properly.

When I include a message in an email in MYOB while sending an invoice it often does not show up in the email, so my polite "Hi so and so, your eamil is attached notice that....." ends up not being there and a rude invoice with NO message goes out.

We have an FAQ document that explains the details of what is happening to the email.

Please go to: http://myobanswers.com/faq/en/...cs_running_OS_X_10.5
to access this information.

I would also like to add that some customers have reported if the signature is removed from the mail account, the message is then sent.

I hope you find this information is helpful.

I read the FAQ. It says ,..." a work around would be to setup the email account as a different type (POP, IMAP, Exchange, etc.) "

My mail is all POP. What does this statement mean?

My apologies, I sent previous post to wrong discussion.

Regarding the emailing to multiple addresses issue,I am using Mail3.6 on OSX 10.5.7, and AccountEdge 2009 v13.0.6A.

When I email an invoice to 2 valid email addresses, a carrot is placed after the last email address forcing the email remain in drafts. I can then go into the drafts folder and remove the carrots to send the email to both addresses.

This problem has been reported but I do not have a date or release when the fix will be published.
