You might want to look at how to make a recurring transaction using the order as a template.

Use "Recurring Transactions" as templates to save retyping whenever you can. I have many I use regularly and have checked the box to "save my changes when I record this recurring transaction" (pick transaction from "Lists:Recurring Transactions" and click "Edit Schedule" to change that setting) These continue to build and evolve as prices change and different items are ordered etc. I have other templates that don't save changes as it can be easier with them to have a clean slate (all items zero) each time I open them. There are others I will create on the fly and use once and then delete. I.e. I need to repeat a transaction I know I did a few months ago. Find and open the original transaction and then click the "Save as Recurring" button (lower left). name it "~~Sysco repeat" or something.. I use the "~~" to force it to the top of the "Lists:Recurring Transactions" list. Go to that list. clicl on the one I just created and click "Use Recurring" make any changes needed and record. Then with the list showing again and the transaction still highlighted - click delete to keep my transaction list from getting too long with one off templates. Dan
